Trans Am & Firebird Headliner Install of a Hurst Hatch T-top Equipped Car.

The Hurst Hatch cars became very popular with the release of the Smokey and the Bandit movie in 1977. From 1976 - 1978 Hurst Hatch t-tops would be a staple of optional equippment for the Trans Am and Firebird models. Burt would corner his Trans Am with ease around the old dirt roads while holding the Sheriff at bay!

30 Years later the restoration of these cars came to a grinding halt as no one reproduced the Hurst Hatch style t-top headliner now made famous by the Smokey and the Bandit movie. Untill now!

A special thanks to Trans Am Gear and AGTA member HAMMER for this 3 part series on how you can now modify and install a new ABS headliner into your Trans Am with Hurst Hatch style t tops. This video series is very informative and shows how you can at home achieve a restoration shop quality modification and install of a new headliner!

Be sure to use AllGen Trans Ams sponsor www.TransAmGear.com for your replacement headliner needs. Once again a special thanks to Larry and Hammer for putting together a great video series!
